The

Charities

LatinoLEAD is a cross-sector consortium of Latinos working together to advance our collective influence, success and power. Our members include corporate, civic, non-profit, business and academic leaders.  We are a Network of Latinx leaders across all sectors who join together to create innovative strategies to drive and define policies and perceptions that advance Latinx collective influence, success, and power.

The LEDC (Latino Economic Development Center) is a MN-statewide membership-based nonprofit organization, headquartered in the Twin Cities. We help transform our Latino community by creating economic opportunity. We offer loans to start-up, small and mid size businesses. As well, we offer business & agricultural training classes, business resources, scholarships, internships and volunteer opportunities to our statewide Latino community.

Teatro del Pueblo is a small, non-profit Latinx theater located in St. Paul, MN. Fostered by the Latino community on the West Side, it has grown since its inception in 1992 to serve the metro area and greater Minnesota. Based in the West Side, Teatro del Pueblo promotes Latinx culture through the creation and presentation of performing arts. Teatro develops and supports Latinx artists, provides educational opportunities for all to experience Latino culture and promotes cross-cultural dialogue.

The Latinx population in Minnesota has increased by more than 500% since 1990. By 2035, Latinxs will make 9% of Minnesota’s total population. Despite our rapid and vibrant growth in the Minneapolis area and beyond, our community continues to be underrepresented in spaces of leadership. We'll examine best practices to be able to attract, hire, and most importantly retain Latinx at your companies.
