Join us this month as we celebrate Autism Awareness by supporting four nonprofits providing important programs & services for our community.
Supports Autism Awareness
The mission of the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is to enhance the lives of individuals and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. AuSM serves Minnesotans, throughout their lives, with a fundamental commitment to advocacy, education, support, collaboration, and community building. AuSM provides quality programs and services and is the first place individuals and families call for expertise, real-life insights, and compassionate support.
Fraser is the premier provider of autism services in the Upper Midwest, and the largest early childhood mental health provider in Minnesota, treating over 100 diagnoses. We serve the whole person through healthcare, housing, employment, education, and support services that help children, teens, adults, and families live their fullest lives, from birth to adulthood. After 75 years, we know the right interventions can ignite the spark of the possible in everyone.
Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) provides therapeutic services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2 to 21 who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our services are center-based and in-home, utilizing several therapeutic modalities, including applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, to develop individualized treatment plans and group learning experiences delivered in a 1:1 ratio or group learning setting with a team of licensed professionals.
At MICC, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to discover their full potential and live a vibrant life. Our students, young adults with ASD or other learning differences, begin with a unique, 3 yr. program to gain the skills they need to become employed and live an independent life. MICC students live with classmates in apartments, where they can immediately apply the skills they learn. After they graduate, MICC is here to help with the challenges through our Community Program.
